Got God?

How often have we, or have we saw someone, try to do something for God without first asking God's blessing?  It's an easy trap to fall into.  We want so badly to do something for God that we blindly go forward with a project without first asking God if he actually wants us to do it.  The we get frustrated that our plans didn't come to fruition.
